Description

🎵 Mixed Solos – Intermediate Edition Vol. 1

Part of The Scrapbook Series – Fairplay Harp School Music

The Fairplay Harp School Scrapbook Series celebrates Shelley Fairplay’s original compositions and much-loved arrangements, shared for the first time in printed collections for harpists everywhere. Created between teaching, performing, and parenting, this series is a joyful reflection of letting go of perfection and releasing music into the world to bring others joy.

“So here I am, letting go of perfection and releasing these pieces into the world, in the hope that they bring you joy.” – Shelley Fairplay

💚 About Mixed Solos – Intermediate Edition Vol. 1

This collection features some of Shelley Fairplay’s most popular pieces, shared through her online harp school, Patreon, and the Dynamic Harps Ensemble.

Many of the melodies in this book were written with a specific learning goal in mind, such as rhythm consolidation, shape work, or expressive phrasing. Each piece is presented in its original intermediate form, offering harpists the opportunity to engage with the music exactly as Shelley first envisioned it.

These pieces are ideal for players who are ready to expand their technical range while deepening musical expression. Several tunes also appear elsewhere in the Scrapbook Series as simplified or ensemble versions, making this a perfect companion to the Elementary Editions.
