Following on from the joyful success of the first hybrid event earlier this year (missed it? check out the video >>HERE<< ) we are going to do it all again! I would love to invite all members of the Dynamic Harps Virtual Ensemble and Dynamic Harps in person to join together on the 15th October 2022!  I am very much looking forward to welcoming you both in person in Cardiff and virtually over Zoom to collaborate in a rehearsal and informal recording on the 15th October 2022. It is my intention that this will be fun, enable us to create a video memory and also let us work on this hybrid set up ahead of our new hybrid monthly sessions.

I am inviting you to come along 10.30am to 4pm in person, and for those attending online the time will be 2pm-4pm GMT+1(BST). As always I cannot promise this will be glitch free but it will be fun I am sure and it seems so amazing to to be able to work together in this way!

I am aiming to experiment with projecting the zoom group above the in person players and would also love to capture everyone introducing themselves, playing a ‘winter storm’ unmuted and in the room, trading riffs between the online and in person group and also to record at least a couple of the pieces on camera which we can put together as a mini concert to share to friends and family online. As always we will be very respectful with all materials.

Come and join us however you can, it will be exciting to try this for the second time, to play the pieces and to film a little bit of our global harp family all playing together celebrating all things harp.

If you are going to attend, please make sure you watch the July and August Dynamic Harps Virtual Ensemble online sessions, you will need to have taken these classes in order to be ready to play the music during the hybrid session. There are simple options for each piece, I promise you can join in whatever your current ability, please just make sure you choose a part that you can enjoy on the day rather then get stressed about!
